Bear
came into this world with no hope for survival. He was most
likely brought into this world by people who are only out for money or
just didn't care. This is just assumed, as no one knows for sure,
because Bear was found in a tied garbage bag with another puppy in a
dumpster. Yes, someone thought Bear was trash and nothing more. But,
someone came upon him and took him to a vet in hopes of saving him
and his friend. His friend died from malnutrition and Bear almost did
too. Thanks to an organization that helps puppies such as Bear, he
overcame his hunger and poor health and was placed in a home. When
this home did not work out for Bear, he came to live with me and my
family. What a blessing.
From the day Bear came to us, he was such a joy. The perfect dog that
did anything you wanted him to. Either lay on the couch all day or go
play ball, it didn't matter to Bear. He had found a home that cared
for him and he decided to give that love back. I knew Bear was a
special dog, so I decided to give him a job. Bear's job became
"helping the injured, sick and elderly." From the first time Bear
stepped into a nursing home he was a star. Everyone loved him and he
loved them. I take Bear with me and share his story and he just
touches their hearts in every way. He likes to do tricks and loves to
show everyone his big blue tongue. He can give bring out their smiles
as he can bring out mine.
Bear is a loving member of our family who helps and loves not only
us, but everyone in the world. From what someone thought was trash,
became one of the best companions I will ever have.
