This
is a picture of Sports and his girlfriend of six years, Sheena
informing Santa of their wishes for this year. (Sheena hoped for
peace on earth and Sports asked for thick T-bone steak.) They are
wonderful little friends who light up our lives and make our family
complete.
Even though they are a year apart, we got both of them at nine-weeks
old. Sheena is "scary-smart" sometimes. She knows when
we've ordered out for pizza and waits for the delivery (she doesn't
do that after any other phone calls.) She loves to exercise and still
runs like the wind. She doesn't have time for other dogs at all but
loves people.
Sports, on the other hand, has slowed down a little, but still has
that protective (and adorable) terrier attitude. He loves dogs, cats,
people, but especially food. He is very protective of his owner but
genuinely likes most people and other dogs. He is also fearless and
will defend himself against others who are much larger and more
powerful than he is. He's very playful and always dominant with other
animals, except when around Sheena. Then she's the boss (and it's
been that way since day one.) They were both unwanted giveaways and
we feel privileged that they were able to make our house their home.
