Tawny
is a Norwegian Spitz. Like all our animals, she chose us while
we were visiting the SPCA. Tawny is two years old and was extremely
shy. Spitz can only be trained using praise. Tawny is special because
she picked us out! Our Sheba had passed away three months earlier. As
you can see by the picture, Tawny is no longer shy and introverted.
Tawny also picked her name off of Animal Planet. Previously we called
her Amber. They were showing a dog named Tawny on the show and when
they called Tawny, our Amber acted like they were calling her. We
have called her Tawny ever since. (She never responded to Amber
anyway).
