Cassidy
has been the most wonderful pet and friend to my wife and I
since we got her as a puppy. She has such a wonderful personality and
is full of life and vigor. She loves to sleep under the covers with
us at night, but we don't know how she doesn't suffocate. The main
reason I would like to honor her is we have recently moved into a new
house in December. After packing up our old house (which I am sure
scared her to death), we moved into a temporary address for three
months. Just when she got used to this location, we then moved to our
new permanent spot. Unfortunately, Cassidy was a little stressed from
all this as she started doing a few things like eating soap and
makeup. To top it all off, we have not had grass for five months! So,
in April when our first baby boy was born, we were concerned that she
would feel like the "second fiddle" since she had been our
"baby" for three and a half years! Well, I must say that
she has come through all this with flying colors! She now likes to
"protect" her baby "brother," and seems to be
adjusting to it all very well. This is why I think our dog is special
and deserves a little recognition of her own!
