Our
dog's name is Abby. She is a six-month-old golden retriever. Her full
name is Princess Golden Abigail IV. She is special because she is very
smart and tries hard to obey even though she is still a puppy. One day
when she had escaped and while we were chasing her we yelled for her to
sit. She wanted so hard to obey and still get away that she started
running with her bottom on the ground. We hope that you will consider
her for trying so very hard to be good! She is incredibly smart and
loves to play.
I raised all $300 myself to get her. I wanted a puppy, and not just any
puppy a Golden Retriever! Then an add in the news paper said they had
pups for sale for $300. I didn't have enough at the time so my parents
payed and I repaid them later.
Update:
Abby now knows how to fetch, sit, stay, roll over, play dead,
come back, tug of war (her favorite), but most of all she knows how to
get everyone to feed her. She doesn't try to steal your food directly
she takes the subtle approach and just stares at you with those big
brown eyes and looks sad. Abby was chosen because she was the most
playful and loving. When we put her in Aubrey's (our oldest daughter and
owner) arms she said it just felt right. Aubrey says that she hopes when
she finds a husband that it will feel the same way. She is a perfect
addition to our family.
