About Us
Mistletoe, the Dog of the Day
Name: Mistletoe
Age: Two years old
Gender: Female Breed: Rat, Fox Terrier Mix
Home: Dayton, Ohio, USA

Mistletoe was a Christmas gift for Macallan from her grandparents (hence the name). She is a very energetic pup, and loves to run very fast. Hence the nicknames Missle and Rocketdog. Missy is a snuggler, and loves to sleep with, on and near her people - especially under the covers. She can also jump very high (Circus Dog), but is also very lady-like and delicate at all of fifteen pounds (Miss Toes).

Mistletoe makes us feel better when we are sad, loves to "go for a ride in the car" and has long puppy legs that she folds up when she gets comfy. She has big pointy ears that stand at attention. She twists her head to the side when she hears things like "cookie," "treat" and "go for a ride in the car," but her ears get all floppy-over when she's tired after a big day barking at people passing, other dogs (especially big ones), squirrels, leaves and moving air (Tough Puppy). Because she is so little, she has a plaid winter coat with a hood and a rainbow-striped sweater which she puts on willingly because she's a GG (Good Girl) and we love her very much.
