This
is Susie Q. She loves people! When we take her to the "Bark
Park," a special fenced area to bring dogs for exercise at the
park, she goes around to meet the people and generally ignores the
dogs. But, let an "evil" squirrel be seen on her yard, and
she's on a mission to stalk and scare him into the trees! Susie Q,
also known as do-di-too, has been a wonderful companion.
She will perform her tricks (sit, dance, shake, sit/stay, down, - roll
over - well, she just hasn't gotten that one!!). She loves to have her
picture taken - when she sees the camera, she just poses and waits to
see the flash!!
She loves to travel and has been to four states on vacation. We just got
back from a trip to New Harmony, Ind. where she loved the Bed &
Breakfast stay--especially since the owner (a vet.) has two dogs also.
We were exhausted after walking all over the state park. Then off to
Lincoln City, the National Boyhood Lincoln memorial, complete with
1800's farm with lots of farm animals to meet. Finally the Lincoln
State Park for some more beautiful scenery. What an adventurer!
