Our
adopted greyhound is Tide (track name was apparently Changing
Tide, so we wanted to make it easy on him). He's five years old and we
lived as a very happy family in Ewing, NJ. It is so easy for our
little fella to qualify for this honor since he is so unique in
personality. Most greyhounds are known for being fast, but also for
being major couch potatoes once retired, not Tide. He's fast alright,
but he is like a toddler. Just enthusiastic, full of life and jumps on
everyone who wants to meet him. He came in First Place at a Greyhound
Picnic a couple of years' back for Best Condition of his age group. We
were such proud parents considering we literally had a tug of war in
the middle of the competition ring! Pretty and it just showed off his
fun-loving and unique personality. So not only did the professionals
sense Tide to be a loveable pet, but my husband and I see in him a
beautiful little soul that fills our home and hearts with such joy and
love!
