I
was rescued from a petshop in Pittsburgh, PA. Pittsburgh is where my
mama went to graduate school. We just recently moved to Pasadena, CA
because my mama graduated and got a post-doc here. I like Pasadena
much better than Pittsburgh because it's sooo much warmer!!! Plus,
they have neat places to go to like the 3 Dog Bakery. My mama takes me
there and dresses me in cute costumes at the bakery (like the one in
the picture) and buys me yummy cookies. Sometimes my mom is dense and
I have to try hard to communicate with her... One time, I accidentally
splashed my water dish in the evening and I didn't have any water...
It was late and my mom didn't notice my bowl was empty. She went to
bed and boy was I thirsty!! So I woke her up in the middle of the
night and tried to send "I need water" thoughts into her
head but she just didn't get it, so I scratched on the door and led
her outside to the swimming pool in the back yard and pointed to the
water with my nose and looked at her. She put 2 and 2 together (bless
her heart, she is rather slow but when she catches on, it's lovely)
and realized that I was thirsty. Humans!!! You just have to be patient
with this species, that's for sure!!!
