This
was our new puppy, Lexie, when she was six months old, sitting in
the window last winter examining her first snow. Earlier that day she
bounded through it, sticking her nose into the biggest snowdrifts - we
think she was looking for all those interesting smells that are usually
out there!
Lexie was rescued from doggy death row (aka The Pound) by a nice woman
who brought her to the vet. She lived at the vet for a month, where
she loved playing with the other dogs but didn't love the cage. We saw
her picture in the window only a few days ago and knew she was the one
for us. She came to live with us two days after Christmas and settled
right in, claiming more than half the bed as her own. Her favorite
things to do are cuddle, chew things and give tons of nice, wet
kisses. What a wonderful Christmas present our Lexie was!
