Sparky
is very playful. He loves to chase our other Rat Terrier,
Speckles, around the yard. Rat Terriers were bred to kill rats and
other small rodents. Sparky has killed many rats and once killed a
16-inch rat in our back yard. He is an excellent watchdog he never
barks unless something is wrong. He once cornered an opossum in our
yard - he would not back off, even though it was hissing at him. It
finally got away by climbing over the fence. Sparky doesn't do any
tricks, he's just Sparky!
