These
are my two dogs, Kirby and Meistro. Kirby (on the left) is ten
years old and once broke the window trying to get outside to play with
the postman. Meistro (on the right) is five years old and talks more than
any person I know. He even sings for us every morning like a rooster.
Kirby (the ten year old) is the very sweetest dog. He likes to snuggle
close and is very well tempered. When my husband is out of town, Kirby
is the best snuggle buddy. Sometimes we call him our little gazelle
because when he retrieves a ball or toy, he springs into the air and
does a half flip. It's really funny to watch. He is very patient with
Meistro who is shall we say "a little pushy."
Meistro likes to be in everyone's business and insists on joining in the
conversation (by howling and scream barking) whenever we have guests
over. It's really fun to carry on a conversation with Meistro as he is
very interactive and vocal. Meistro doesn't know very many tricks, but
he will sit up on his hind legs. We call that "Sit up like a big boy"
trick.
Both Kirby and Meistro are very affectionate dogs. Both of them will
share the love with anyone, except Kirby with kids. Fortunately, we do
not have kids yet. As you can see from the picture, they have very long
tongues to give lots of kisses with. They are so cute!
