Meet
Lit'l Rusty aka Cuppycake. Cuppycake was found at my sister's -
we know she was dumped there. I fell in love with her the moment I
laid eyes on her. After taking her to my vet and having her checked
over, I was told she had a broken jaw - most likely because she had
been kicked. She had an infection from the break under her chin. She
was very matted, and she hadn't been groomed in months. I wasn't able
to have her surgery until it was determined who her owner was - she
was micro-chipped - but to make a long story short, I was sent her
registration papers so she was able to have surgery, her jaw was wired
for six weeks and she was spayed.
Cuppy was very shy when she first came to live with us. She is still
frightened of men, but it is getting better. She is a mommie's girl,
and goes bye-bye with me as much as possible. She has a wonderful car
seat that she just loves and her beanie buddie Nanook goes everywhere
with her. He has lost his nose from Cuppy chewing on it, but she still
loves her no-nose Nanook. She has brought us so much joy... I can't
remember or imagine life without her!
