This
is Sooty. She is a very pretty dog and should be in show
business. Sooty has the longest eye lashes I have ever seen, and a
white star on her chest which indicates she should be a star. She is
selectively intelligent and obedient - in other words she is very
feisty and will avoid being told what to do where possible. She beats
up on Sparky and bosses her around. She has definitely not been an
easy dog to have, as she is a barker and still not totally
house-trained. However she is very affectionate, if only she wouldn't
jump up and nip me on the bottom when I come home from work. I had to
resort to dog obedience training to teach her that I am the Alpha dog,
not her... I recommend it for any dog as it has made a great
difference... she nearly always stops killing Sparky now when I yell
at her to stop. I give Sooty a dog biscuit each morning but instead of
eating it she runs outside and buries it, which is very funny to
watch, however not so funny when she buries it in my plants.
Sometimes I find strange things buried under pillows and cushions in
the house. Having two dogs is great because you never feel guilty when
you have to go out, as they can keep each other company.
