This
is Magni. He is a german shepherd mix of some sort and is about 3
years old. We don't know for sure, because we caught him as a stray.
He was really in need of medical care. Later I was so lucky to meet
some people who knew him and his past. He had been abused, lived the
first year of his life chained outside without any shelter. The
breeder wasn't able to sell him because he is missing an eye. He
escaped when animal control came out to take the dogs away, and lived
for about another year surviving on his own in the hills around here.
Finally he got so hungry that he started to come into our small town
to steal from the trash cans and we were able to catch him. He was
very wild, had never been inside a house or had any training. It took
another year with a lot of socializing and training before he got to
be the dog he is now. He is very trustful and a lazy couch potato. He
is special to me. It amazes me how far he has come with such a
terrible past, and that he can still have such a lovely wonderful
temperament!!! Magni lives in California with his furry brothers and
sisters now and enjoys life!
