About Us
Scooby Doo, the Dog of the Day
Name: Scooby Doo
Age: Six months old
Gender: Male Breed: Dog
Home: Memphis, Tennessee, USA

A mixed breed of unknown origins, Scooby was a very lonely stray puppy that had been rescued by a friend of ours. He was so adorable with his exceedingly long tail and multicolored eyes (the left is blue and the right is brown and blue mixed) that we just couldn't resist bringing him home!

Adopted into the family at somewhere around three months old he weighed in at roughly thirteen pounds. Scooby is no longer the lonely little pup he once was! Now weighing in at 47 pounds in only three months in his new residence, he abounds in energy and confidence! He must have watched Superman with us one night, for now he can clear a six foot privacy fence in a single bound, much to our neighbor's dismay!

Our neighbors (who have four Golden Retrievers of their own) begged us to place a doggie door in our fence when Scooby joined our family so that our new puppy wouldn't be lonely during the day while we were at work. We never did do that, and now I think they're very grateful, because since then Scooby has succeeded at least on 2 occasions into gaining entry into their yard, destroying multiple bags of mulch, shredding 50 pound dog food sacks into bits of paper so small and fine that it could be used to line a hamster cage, as well as other unmentionable damage! He's been forgiven so far! But it's needless to say, Scooby Dooby Doo is definitely all boy and fits perfectly into our home!

Although he's still puppy enough to inflect the damage of a tornado, he's also very loving and kind spirited! It's been speculated upon which is the shadow of the other with our three year old son! They wrestle and play and sleep together at night! "Scooby Doo Where Are You!" is yelled out every afternoon when my son bursts through the door! If a dog is man's best friend - then a puppy must be a child's dream come true!
