This
is 'Dorable Dora Doll. Dora for short. She is spoiled rotten, just
like she should be. She loves to snuggle under the covers when she
sleeps, though sometimes she crawls into the pillowcases to make an
extra soft snuggly bed.
Recently she's started a new game with her dog food. After I've
poured out the food and have settled back watching TV, she will go grab
a kibble and bring it up on the bed next to me, drop it, back away about
a foot and bark and growl at the evil kibble piece. She sneaks up on it,
grabs it again and runs to another corner of the bed, drops it and
growls again. This can go on four or five times before she'll settle
down with her nose about an inch away from the kibble and stare at it as
if she expects it to jump up and attack her. I laugh and ask her if she
has Evil Dog Food, then I pick up the piece and pretend like I'm about
to eat it. She barks at me like crazy as if to warn me I'm about to eat
poison. But after I put the kibble back down, she's happy to go ahead
and eat it. I guess since it didn't kill me it must be ok. After playing
the Evil Dog Food game, she'll go to the dish and finish her food like a
normal dog.
