Now
who couldn't love a face like that. Brutes is my pride and joy. We
bought Brutes when he was nine weeks old, and ever since he has brought
much happiness to our family. Brutes loves to play keep away and have
you chase him. We have had a few scary moments with him, in May he had
to have a left TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Operation) and before the
procedure he had to have a pre-op and he had a bad reaction to the
medicine and we almost lost him. I'm so thankful to the vet tech who was
watching over him and realized that there was a problem with his
breathing. I was very nervous when they did operation hoping and
praying that he would wake up, and he did. The first few months were
hard for us and him. It's trying time when you know that he just wants
run and be a dog and you have to control him and make him just lay
there. We got over that then last November we noticed a sore on his leg
where they had stuck the plate, so back to the vet with him and to our
shock they had to take the plate out do to a reaction. But by the end of
December and he was back to 100 percent and feeling great. Brutes needs
another TPLO on his right leg and we have decided to wait until March
he really needs to be a dog. No matter what it takes my husband and I
will be there for him.
