Teddy
was adopted from a breeder in British Columbia Canada. We drove
1,100 miles to choose him from a litter of three males so you can see that he
was really a wanted puppy. Since he came to live with us and be our
"son" he has not only given us a laugh every day, he has had a
collateral duty as "nurse." About a two years after we adopted Teddy,
I fell and fractured my ankle so badly, I was in the hospital for two
weeks and then a long convalescence at our home. Teddy refused to leave
the bed as long as I was in it. He would lay on my lap whenever I was
sitting on the sofa with my foot propped up and did not want anyone to
come too close. I am happy to report that Teddy and I are now walking
together a mile and a quarter every day at our local lake and without
his help, my long days and weeks would have been difficult indeed to
deal with. His Daddy and I love him with all our hearts.
