This
is Pika, short for Pikatti. It means "companion" in Eskimo. He
turned one on 3-28-02. He is a large Alaskan Malamute as you can see. He
loves being in the family and insists on coming in to socialize with
everyone. He does not bark at all but makes sounds like he is trying to
talk. All our friends get a big kick out of his "talking."
Although he is large, Pika is still in the puppy mode and thinks he must
sit on the loveseat with me. He has a plastic swimming pool which has to
be continually refilled because he loves to get in it and splash water
all over himself. He demands attention and loves to play with a ball or
his fuzzy toy. He is a great addition to our household which already
consists of two Bichons. We do love our Pika.
