My
name is Floyd and I am six years old. I am a pointer mix. I was born
on a farm in Gettysburg, PA, but recently moved to the big apple - New
York City - with my master who just got married! I am adjusting well to
the city, I like all of the other dogs and there are lots of parks where
I can run around with my friends. Every summer, my parents take me to
the beach, this is a picture of me relaxing on the deck of our beach
house. I'm the luckiest dog in the world!
Floyd is a super mellow dog who loves all people and animals (especially
squirrels!) He is responsive to human feelings and is likely to console
someone who is crying, jump and play when someone is excited, or relax
and cuddle when someone is sleeping. Floyd likes to laze around all day
on the couch, waiting for one of his parents to come home and take him
for a long walk! He loves people food and will shake, roll over, and
stand on his hind legs for treats. He will only do his best trick for a
piece of steak. Sitting down he will balance a piece of steak on his
snout and look at it cross-eyed until you tell him it is okay to eat it -
then he will turn up his nose and try to catch the steak in his mouth.
He doesn't succeed every time, but in the end he always gets the steak!
