This
is Kookie, (said like cookie). She is a mix of shepherd, terrier,
and lab. She is very intelligent and very special! She does just about
everything with us, including boating, camping, swimming, and car rides.
Her favorite thing is ice cream, say "Mickey D's," and she is ready for
ice cream.
Kookie has had a hard life before she come to be with my husband and
myself. She came from a local SPCA, and was found as a puppy wandering
the streets, someone else adopted her and mistreated her. Then we found
her on the Internet on the SPCA's web page. I said "I want her!" and
here she is. Kookie has already had major leg surgery, and needs another
surgery, for a hereditary problem, and has had some other serious health
problems, but with all the love and attention she gets, she is one
"super dog."
