Jake
is ten months old and joined our family when he was five months old. He
is a very happy puppy. Jake has two sisters, a thirteen-year-old Collie
named Rustie and Whiskas, a five-year-old ragdoll cat. Jake is a high
energy dog. He loves to go jogging, play catch and is especially fond of
being chased. Jake thinks he is a lap dog; he loves to get and give
attention.
Despite the misunderstanding about being a lap dog, Jake is very smart.
He carefully listens to everything you say, cocking his head to one side
and loves to obey commands. The one thing that he seems to love more
than anything else is being "The Guard Dog". Whenever a stranger comes
to our door he is greeted with deep growls and barks. When the stranger
leaves and you tell Jake what a good boy he was, he jumps high in the
air and runs all through the house. He gets so excited and happy!
