This
is Boomer. He is four months old and is a Shepherd Husky
cross. He is very playful and is quite a little jokester. He loves to
sing in the woods, howling to all the other animals who live there. He
is madly in love with his girlfriend Tula, another Husky who lives with
him. He is a magical little boy who has brought laughter and love into
my life.
He is very affectionate and all you have to do to win his heart is pick
him up in your arms and place him on his back so that he can stare at
you with his soulful amber eyes. Boomer loves to be with his mommy and
follows her around every room in the house. He has mastered both sit and
down, but likes to ignore come, especially when his hikes in the woods
are close to being finished. His favorite times are when he is walking
in the coastal rain forests around Vancouver, BC where he lives. He is
very spoiled, as some days he spends his mornings frolicking at Kits
Beach with all the other dogs, and his afternoons hiking in the snow on
the North Shore Mountains.
Boomer likes to play games with his people friends. He loves to "steal"
things from them and run around the neighborhood prancing like a
thoroughbred. He thinks this is quite hilarious. His Mom hopes to
train him as an avalanche dog when he grows up. He has already been for
a ride on the ski lifts and the skidoo at his mommy's work. The chair
lift ride was fun but the skidoo ride was scary and he wrapped both his
little paws around the driver's arm soooo tight that the driver fell in
love with him. However, games of fetch and recall haven't quite been
mastered yet, so there is still much work to do.
