Darja
is a special girl because she always makes me happy. Just
looking at her makes me smile. It may sound strange, but I can talk to
her about anything and I know she's the only one who can really keep all
my secrets and that makes her very special - at least I think so.
The picture I choose is from our country house, Darja has very thick fur
so she likes the shadows (and the water).
Darja knows following tricks: Give-me-five, crawl, bark on command,
roll-over and the usual sit, lie, stay and come when I say her name.
Darjas favorite game is hide and seek. I hide somewhere in our house (or
outside) and she finds me - most of the time. She's not very good at
hiding though! Darja loves to cuddle. Every night when I'm going
to bed, Darja jumps up in my bed and we sleep side-by-side the whole
night. Except in the summer, then she sleeps on the floor because it's
too warm in my bed. She's very affectionate, for example if I'm watching
TV she wants to lie next to me in the sofa. Right now, when I'm writing
this email, she's sleeping under my chair.
In the winter Darja loves to jump around in the snow, because of the
thick fur. And in the summer she loves to swim, she can swim around
for half an hour easy... also because of her fur. When we go for a
walk she never wears a leash because I think that she should have as
much "freedom" and exercise as possible. She has many dog friends and
her best fiends are a german shepherd (Challe) and a adopted dog from
spain (Grace) no one knows what breed she is. If I would describe Darja
with only one word it would be "happy" she's always happy and in a
good mood. Darjas favourite toy is a "Plush Puppy" that my aunt (who
lives in London) gave her for her birthday last year. She plays with it
everyday and sometimes when she's sleeping she use it as a pillow... She
is my princess.
