Jumbo
has a great personality. Since we got him in August, he has yet
to get mad at anything. You can tickle him, poke him, roll him over,
tug on his tail...he likes it as long as you are lathering him with
attention without being mean. You can even massage his stomach with
your feet standing over him...we sometimes think he's overly secure ^_^
Jumbo will back-talk us. If we are too slow getting dressed to walk
him, he will do a low growl as he walks toward us, wiggling his butt
since his tail won't move.
He doesn't know any tricks ... we think. He's very good at begging.
When we eat, he would sit there and stare at us with absolute faith that
we will eventually give him something... It's hard to not give in. He
does know not to bite. When his teeth touches skin by accident while
playing games, he'll let go immediately.
As for favorite games, he likes tug of war with chew toys or ropes. He
also like to jump from the stairs or sofa onto our backs if we don't pay
attention. He can catch a ball if we bounce it off the wall.
He's affectionate, wants a lot of attention, and yet is very
independent. Once he knows play time is over, he will go back to his
area and work on his chew toy.
He doesn't bark almost never. If he notices strange sounds or
strangers, he does one or two low growls, that's it.
If I had as much faith in life as Jumbo has for me, I could do anything!
