This
is Sabbath, he is one of the best friends we've ever had. I and my
husband were always in awe of Pitbull terriers. We, like most of the
world, have heard their bad reputation. But with their sweet faces,
sturdy bodies, and shiny coats, we wanted to see what they where really
like. We got Sabbath from a breeder in Kansas City, Missouri. We took him
home, and to tell the truth, he was so sickly and undernourished, we
thought he wouldn't last through the night.
He did last, he grew up to be a beautiful boy! He is so gentle. He
loves to play with our cat Ozzy, and our other little dog Sheba. The three
of them are best friends! My nephew, Taylor, who is just over two years
old, loves to ride him like a horse! He is so kind and gentle he
tolerates and loves all of the affection we give him. Sabbath's best
friend in the whole world is a Chocolate Lab named Kodi, if allowed,
they would play and wrestle for hours and hours straight! All of us
have moved out to Kremmling Colorado, and Sabbath just loves snow! He
loves to go camping in the summer. He loves doing anything in the
outdoors. He is scared of the dark, though, and will not leave my side
when the sun goes down. He loves kids, people, other dogs, cats, and,
well, there isn't much he doesn't like ... except staying off the bed at
night! He is the biggest cover hog ever!!! Maybe this will give some
people insight on the pitbull. They are not the monsters, or land sharks
people have made them out to be... It is how they are raised and trained!!!
