Harley
is a typical Australian Shepherd. He is constantly under your feet.
He loves to be either under your feet or lying on your feet. We bought
Harley two years ago from a breeder. Right after he came to live with us, he
started getting very sick. He was very dehydrated and we thought it was
parvo. We found out that the people we had purchased Harley through were
actually like a puppy mill, so they had tons of different breeds of dogs.
We nursed him back to health over a period of a few weeks with food, love,
and a few vet visits. Now he is a part of our family.
We have a total of three dogs, two cats and reptiles. One of Harley's favorite
things to do is to harass one of our cats (I actually think the cat likes
it). He chases the cat through the house and will actually pull the cat
around a little bit. The cat will just lay down and start playing with
Harley, so I know that he is okay with it. The funny thing is that Harley
doesn't mess with our other cat at all. So Harley and Felix (cat) have
developed a special bond.
He is a wonderful breed to have as a family dog. He is loyal, lovable, and
great with kids.
