I
would like you to meet Amy. Amy is a wonderful dog! We know that she
is half dachshund, but were not so sure we know what the other breed is.
Amy has a very interesting history... we found her for sale (free) in
Georgia! My older brother and me were so excited to have another dog
since we only had one named Sadie (Cocker Spaniel). When we brought her
home she slept forever. Then, she woke up and begun to bark and play
with Sadie! But, Sadie ignored her since she was just a little puppy.
I guess they didn't hit it off at first. But when we moved to CA, then
TX, Amy and Sadie became best friends! But, in Texas Sadie was having
trouble breathing and had to be put down. We were all so sad because
Sadie has been there for us for 16 1/2 years! But life went on, as it
always does. I don't think Amy will ever forget the name Sadie as she
always perks her ears up when we say her name.
Amy is a very smart dog! She knows tons of words, I will name just a
few; sockie, dish, go for a ride (car), boat, go for a walk, ducks, eat,
food, fries, carrot, treat, Bella (another dog), Peach (guinea pig), go
get that one (newspaper), John, Katie, Mommy, Daddy, Sadie, water,
potty, ni-night, and many more.
Amy will always be loved!!!
