I
got Bailey when she was six weeks old. She was the runt out of a litter
of thirteen pups! The minute I walked into the breeders house, she caught
my eye. She was curled up in the corner of their yard covered in mud.
She's been an amazing dog ever since. She is very protective and sleeps
in the bed with me every night. She knows and obeys several commands,
such as sit, stay, heel, lay, shake and many others. She is very people
and animal friendly. She gets along great with my other dog, Kahluha,
and my cat, Roo. Basically, she loves attention and loves to be around
the action! Not to say she "befriends" strangers. She's been known to
shove me out of the way when someone new comes over until she believes
it's okay. She loves to be in the car and enjoys the lake. During the
summer, she likes to relax in the sun or play in the water chasing ducks
or just roaming around in a field. She seems to really enjoy the snow
and likes to chase deer in Ruidoso on the mountains. I haven't been
able to teach her to snow ski, yet!! Maybe, just maybe...
