Doll's Carolina Belle, a.k.a. Katie came to live with us a little
over a year ago as a six-week-old puppy. After losing our beloved
dachshund to old age we vowed to never go through that heartbreak again.
Never say never, as Katie stole everyone's heart before the first week
was over.
She rules the roost over two humans and three cats and is the official
"cat police" at every opportunity. She's a total cat-chasing,
squirrel-chasing tomboy and all my attempts to make a fancy girly-girl
out of her fall by the wayside. She has the heart of a hunting dog in
that fancy little body just waiting to get out.
Katie brings joy and much laughter to each day. We're blessed to have
her as part of our family.
