Barney
was rescued from a pound by the kind folks at the American Eskimo
Rescue and Sanctuary of Iowa when he was nine months old. He had been
abused and starved, and left tied under a trailer before being abandoned
at the pound. He's lived with me and his (now) three Eskie sisters for
the last year, and he's a healthy, happy boy now!
Barney loves to snuggle and to play with his sisters, especially
one-year-old Frannie, another rescue who joined the household about six
months after he did. Barney and Frannie play tug-o'-war with virtually
anything, and Barney loves to entice Frannie into chasing him madly
around the house. We love him, and are glad he's one of our family.
