This
is Fogherty Dumas, A.K.A. Foggy. He is a Parti-colored Schnauzer,
living in the suburbs of Chicago. Pure of breed, he's just a different
color than the A.K.C. is used to. He causes quite a stir where ever he
goes. Of proud stock, Foggy holds his head high and prances about as
though everyone in the room came just to see him. He came to our family
after the death of another dear schnauzer and had big shoes to fill, but
he's filling them in fine style.
Being careful not to support puppy mill breeding, we had to travel seven
hours to a reputable breeder to adopt our Foggy. We found him on the
Internet and we were a bit nervous making all the transactions on line
and not meeting him until the day we went to pick him up, but the whole
experience couldn't have been better.
Foggy is in puppy obedience classes and is as sharp as a tack. He's
learned how to shortcut every behavior command to get right to the
treat. What joy this little guy has brought into our lives. No one
should ever be without a dog.
