This
is my dog and her name is Lily. I took this picture around
Halloween last year. Lily is not usually very photogenic so the fact
that she looks so pretty in this picture makes me happy. My other dog,
Chloe, is also a rough sable collie. She is Lily's best friend. Chloe is
three years old and very playful. She keeps Lily young. I also have two
kittens, Sassy and Scooter. They are a little over a year old and they
were once wild, but I domesticated them.
Lily is a little unsure about the cats. They try to swat at her when she
tries to play. Lily loves to bark and she looks so pretty after I brush
her. She knows sit, lay down, paw and she comes when called. She is very
gentle and obedient. She can be a little unsure of strangers but she
warms up quickly. Especially if they pet her. She has arthritis so
sometimes she moves a little on the slow side, but most days she is as
frisky as a puppy. Lily used to be able to sleep in my bed with me but
when she got arthritis she couldn't jump up anymore because the bed is
too high. She is like a big soft bear, sweet, soft, and cuddly. Lily is
the most lovable and affectionate dog I have ever met. She has a heart
of gold and she wouldn't hurt a fly. I love her very much.
