I
went to Animal Services every day looking for the "perfect dog" and
then one day she appeared...
She was found running along side the highway out in the country when she
was only four months old. She was picked up by Animal Services and brought
to the local shelter. She stayed there for a week hoping that her
previous owners would come and get her. They never came looking for her
and Nova was then put up for adoption. The first day that I saw her I
knew I had to adopt her. She had something about her that made my heart
melt.
Whenever Nova is out and about people always stop and ask "What kind of
dog is she?" Our best guess is a husky/ shepard or border collie cross.
She is very unique with the mask on her face and the rest of her body
being all white.
She is a very active pooch, she loves to run and play with other dogs.
Her hobbies include eating toilet paper rolls, digging holes in the
backyard, and chasing her tail. She loves going out to the lake and
catching mice, toads, or any other creature she can find. Her best
friend is her cousin Wendel the beagle. They love to play tugs and chase
each other. Nova very rarely barks, but she does have a very distinct
yowl that she makes when she is happy or excited (or when she wakes up
in the morning!).
Nova has made my life so much more interesting and complete. I hope that
she brings a smile to your face as she does to mine each and every day!
