Cocoa
still has a whole lot of energy even though she turned ten this
year. She is such a great dog and forgets often that she is not a human.
She loves to hang out with my husband and I. She loves long naps and
playing with her toys.
She is no joke when it comes to eating time, she is always ready to eat.
She watches me cook from a far since she is not allowed in the kitchen.
I am sure she has watched me so much she could make any meal. She also
loves her Daddy time. They play on the floor and go for long walks in
the neighborhood where all the kids treat her as a playmate.
Cocoa thinks she is a person and is very affectionate when she wants to
be. She likes to snuggle and be rubbed but also likes her time alone to
take a long nap. She enjoys laying in her bed and stretching out and
catching some sun. She loves to play tug with her rope toy and is
always ready for a walk around the neighborhood. You can't teach an old
dog new tricks they say, and in her case it is true because we have
tried, and Cocoa just looks at us with a "please?"
