My
name is Harpo. I started out in life as an orphan puppy on the
streets of Newark, NJ. A nice lady named Donna, truly my fairy
godmother, rescued me and introduced me to my personal humans, Kevin and
Philicia. My favorite thing to do is run around the house with my
squeaky toys - that's why I was named after Harpo Marx. Every day I
chase the birds out of my yard, someday I'll catch one! My favorite game
is to catch baby carrots that my humans throw to me from across the
room. I am a very friendly dog, always wagging my tail and smiling - I
have lots of teeth. I greet all visitors to our house with a smile and a
tail wag - then I rub against them to shed some hair on them and then I
lick their hands - but, I never jump up, because that's not polite. I
enjoy eating all kinds of food, even lettuce and olives with French
dressing... I even like to eat leftovers from a fork - my humans hold
the fork and I gently take the food. When my humans are home, I always
follow them around. You never know when they're handing out treats!
