This
is Murray. He is our special little guy. My boyfriend and I
wandered into the local shelter one Saturday afternoon. We were "just
looking," then we rounded the corner and we saw Murray in a little puppy
pile with two of his brothers. Those big brown eyes captured our hearts
immediately. The shelter told us that Murray was a lab Rottweiler mix.
We didn't care what he was - he was ours!
Murray is a fun-loving six-month-old puppy. He loves to play tug-of-war
and run sprints all over the house. Murray's favorite thing is Puppy
Playtime on Sundays. We get together with a group of Murray's friends
and go for a nature walk as a pack. All of the dogs are able to run and
just be dogs. It wasn't until we saw Murray run that we knew for sure
that he has Whippet in him. None of the other dogs can catch him and
you can just see the smile on his face.
Although Murray is often a handful, I don't know what we'd do without
him. Murray has become the center of our world and the heart of our family.
