This
is my rescued Greyhound, Nictor. Our Nictor has been a wonderful
addition to our family by just being himself. He knows no tricks, can't
'fetch', doesn't bark, and mostly sleeps! Not very interesting, you
say?
Perhaps not, but Nictor has been a tremendous source of comfort to our
family. We have lost our other two dogs to illness within a six-month
period of time, and no Nictor finds himself all alone. Just having him
around, seeing him in the morning so excited to get his breakfast, and
sharing a quiet moment with him by our sides (there are many quiet
moments with him!) has eased the pain of losing his sisters.
Though many other dogs may be more 'exciting,' Nictor possesses a
loving, quiet and gentle nature that I've not seen in other dogs. Nictor
is a real sweety!
