Hi,
my name is Copper! My mommy calls me "Floppy boy" I guess because I
flop on the floor in front of everyone and kick my back legs like a
lunatic just to get my belly rubbed and if they don't pay attention or
move I follow them and paw them until they do! I love to play fetch and
chew on my toys but am a little confused lately because mommy and daddy
brought a baby sister home (Human) and for some reason I can not play
with her toys too. I sure do get in trouble for chewing up her stuff ...
She is one year old now and it kind of hurts when she pulls my ears and pinches
me, but I am gentle with her because I am a good boy.
My sister Penny (canine, also dachshund) likes to play with me too but
only when she feels like it - boy do you know when she doesn't! I also
like to go on walks but hiking is my favorite because I get my own leash
instead of being hooked to Penny. I like to climb, Penny does not. My
other favorite thing to do is nap! I think it is most comfortable in a
ball on my back or half under a blanket on my back. Oh how I enjoy my
naps! I am full of life and energy and I don't think my mom and dad
would now what to do if I weren't around. I love them and they love
me ... Good-bye for now I'm going to take a nap after all this talking!
