My
basset hound Bentley is seven years old, and he is the apple of my eye!
Bentley loves to make sure my husband and I never go a second without
laughing! Every morning @ 5am, he jumps into our bed and squeezes in
between us... then if you open one eye, all you hear is his tail wagging
non stop and then he pokes you with that big wet cold nose! Bentley
loves to go hiking in the woods, he is always on squirrel patrol! One of
these days he is going to catch one, don't let those short little legs
fool you, he can run fast!
Bentley loves to go in the car, and he is with us wherever we go!
Sometimes, we have a hard time walking him in public places, with that
cute face of his, it's like mob scene! People just love to come up and
pet him, we are always so proud that he is our boy! He is known as
King Bentley around the neighborhood since he sits like he is royalty!
He is treated like a king, and he deserves nothing but the best!
Bentley, despite his stature, loves to run and play inside and outside
the home. He is very fast despite his li'l legs and likes to "show
off!" He also loves to carry his stuffed animals around the
house, and hide his bones in the yard. What a life!
When it comes to his bark - none can compare to the deeeeeeeeeeep sound
of Bentley's voice. So when Bentley says "hi," people listen.
I hope you find him as sweet as we do! We love him to pieces... with a
face like that, how could you not!
