This
is Darien Starr, our Blue Fawn Italian Greyhound. Starr came to us
when he was nine weeks old and just five pounds. He grew to be large for
a "miniature" greyhound, being eighteen pounds and approximately
eighteen inches tall. We call him Starr because he has a white triangle
on the back of his neck that reminded us of a star. When Starr first
entered our lives and home we also had three cats. The alpha cat quickly
put Starr in his place and since that day he gives the cats their due
respect!
Starr is a mommy's boy and goes in his crate when I leave the house. He
loves to play ball and can lob it onto the top of our entertainment
center with his nose. My favorite thing is to watch him run. He prances
with his front feet like a prize pony. Starr has a large vocabulary and
can identify his "yellow ball" vs his "poof ball." He loves the
grandkids because they play tug-of-war with him.
