Sadie
was found by my mother in the drain pipe under the driveway of
their home when she was only three months old. Where not sure if she ran
away, but due to her small size at the time, we felt she was probably
dumped off. After contacting the local vets and checking for lost ads, a
decision had to be made wether to keep Sadie or release her for adoption
at our local SPCA. I already had a nine-year-old Cocker Spaniel named
Justin. I know that Justin just loves all other animals, but was not sure
what he would do with a rapidly growing puppy constantly underfoot. Well,
he must have fell in love with her adorable and unique face just like I
did.
We have been as lucky to have Sadie as she is to have us. She is a
tremendously happy dog and even though she may sometimes try our patience
you just can not be gruff when that happy face is staring back. Sadie is
very vocal and loves to tell you what she is feeling, making all sorts of
barks, howls, grunts and gestures. In her free time she loves to chase
squirrels and with her full 45 pounds she now pulls me on my bike. We sent
this picture so everyone who comes across it will have a much happier
day. Sadie's motto is "Life's short, smile large!"
