Everybody,
I'm a good old dog and my parents are thinking I deserve to be Dog of
the Day because I've been kind, funny and cuddling for all my life.
Every morning and evening I have to take some medicine because I don't
have my thyroid gland anymore, so I gently sit, catch the two tablets and
then a treat because I've been so brave (my Dad always says). Not sure
what he means, but I like the treat anyway!
I'm living with a young basset hound female and six cats. We are all
very good friends and two of the cats often are sleeping with me in my
own basket.
I like to make some funny jokes to my humans like pinching some
biscuits! The most difficult is not to be caught with the biscuits but
to be back in my basket before my Dad realizes. I know, it isn't fair
but nobody is perfect and they're so delicious.
When I am not pinching biscuits, I'm playful with my dog-sister. I like
to cuddled and I'm always happy if you play with me. The only trouble
in my life is going under the shower. I don't like it and I'm not
understanding why me and not the cats! That's just not fair!
Now that I'm older I don't go for very long walks any more but I still
appreciate a little promenade in the country side. I'm spoiled rotten
by my Mam, who loves me very much and always says that I'm the funniest
dog she's never met in her life. I know she will miss me a lot the day
I'll cross the rainbow bridge over but she will always remember me as
her very good dog.
