Osker
is a very special wiener dog. He is very playful, extremely
intelligent and has a very unique personality. Contrary to other small
dogs, he does not bark unnecessarily -- only when someone comes to the
door. Then once the person comes in, he runs to get his ball to play. He
is obsessed with his ball and plays games with it on his own using a
blanket or a stuffed toy. He's so obedient and smart that people think
he is human!!
One of the things that makes Osker a unique pet is that he goes shopping
with me in his pet stroller and can "shop till I drop" - most times for
five or more hours at a time. He has never had an accident in any store (I
take him out to do his business before we begin shopping). When we are
shopping, people cannot believe that he is so well behaved - he does
not mutter a peep - he either sleeps or people watches. He seems
to just enjoy being with his mom. I have never met another dachshund or
any other dog like Osker. That's not just from my point of view, but
friends and people we met tell me that too all the time!!
