This
is Maxwell a.k.a. 'Maximium Energy' or Max, he is a Shih Tzu-Poodle
mix. Max was given to us by dear friends who got him from their relative
who could no longer keep him due to house rules. Our friend who was a
recent amputee and didn't feel well enough to care for him, told me
about him at church. She wondered what she was going to do with him. I
said I want him sight unseen. All this and he was only six weeks old. But
it was my lucky day. I brought him home the same day and he settled
right in.
Max is probably the smartest dog that we have ever owned. If he gets his
leash tangled in the bushes, he can untangle himself. He is more than a
little spoiled. Every week when I go shopping there better be something
in the bag for him, and of course there always is. He loves to talk to
Grandma on the phone.
Max is the light and love of our life. He does something every day to
make us smile. He loves us unconditionally and we love him just the
same. I'm just glad I didn't play hooky from church that day. He is such
a blessing to us.
