This
is our pet, Sable. Her full name is Sable Vom Marie Sonnenaufgang
and she will be four years old on March 2. She really is a German German
Shepherd. Her dad was born in Germany and shipped to the US and mom was
born in Maryland. Both parents are health certified (for hips, eyes, and
heart) so we knew she came from a good breeder.
There are so many things that are special about Sable. She loves to play
with most any ball and loves to catch a Frisbee. She is kid-friendly,
has been with our family since she was eight weeks old. She wakes my husband
up every morning at 6:30 am to go out, so he doesn't need to use an
alarm clock. She loves to follow us all around the house. But if one of
us is sick, she will stay with us and stays very calm.
She has so much personality and when you talk to her, she tilts her head
as if she were listening closely to you. She can do tricks like say
hello, shake, lay down, crawl. she can distinguish between a ball and a
Frisbee. She is just like one of our kids, just furrier!
