This
is my two year old terrier/Chihuahua mix named Phoebe, her nickname
is "P." I adopted her a little over three months ago from a rescue and I
still have a hard time believing how anyone could not fall in love with
her immediately like I did. She had two bad homes before me, both filled
with neglect and horrible circumstances. That's all past her now
because she is the happiest and most spoiled dog now, and I can only
hope that I have made her forget about all the misery in her first two
years of life.
Phoebe's favorite thing to do is to be outside. We go for four walks a day
where she can prance around and chase bugs, birds, frogs and all the
other neighborhood pets. When we are not outside we are playing with
her collection of toys and she is always doing something to earn herself
a treat - her other favorite thing!!! She may be sixteen pounds, but her size
shouldn't fool you. She is very protective of me and has the personality
of a giant dog. If you don't know she's the boss when you meet her, then
don't worry because she will quickly let you know who's in charge!
