This
is my dog George at aged four months, he's now eight months old but
not very photogenic at the moment - through no fault of his own. He is a
Chocolate Labrador crossed with a Golden Retriever. George loves life, he
is a friendly, funny, loving and sometimes a very mischievous pup.
His talents are rolling over when he thinks he is being told off,
swimming, he's completely obsessed with catching tennis balls (should be a
fielder in the England cricket team).
He has one particular trick which he has always done which I think is
quite clever; he will steal a sock from a pile of washing or a slipper
from beside my bed and run off with it, tail wagging like mad, very full
of himself, a minute later he will reappear without the sock or slipper
and steal it's matching pair!! When I eventually find them they are always
sat neatly side by side, paired up, strange but true. At night he'll hunt
down with his favorite toy which is a foot high 'Tigger', he'll drag him
to his bed, snuggle up with him and fall fast asleep snoring like a little
pig. He's a delight to have around, an all round happy chappy.
We wanted to honor George most because he is especially brave. I recently
discovered that he has elbow and hip dysplasia. He is currently undergoing
several Operations to help improve his quality of life. He never complains
and always has a wag of his tail even when he has just been operated on!!
He cheers everyone up with his fantastic loving nature.
