This
is my beauty, Harper Leigh. She is a four year old Weimaraner who
is so sweet and pretty she make your heart ache! Besides being so
gorgeous, she is so smart she is a daily challenge. Weims like to be in
charge not only of their owners, but any other animal... cat, dog, horse,
etc! But really she is just a big baby who craves attention and food.
And talk about easy to train. Even though many people told me that Weims
are stubborn and hard to train, I had no problems with her at all.
I hung a set of bells from the inside front door handle, and she will
ring the bells with her nose to let me know she needs to go outside. If
she wants ice, she has learned to push the button on the ice dispenser
on the outside of the fridge. She noses the buttons, and out pops the
ice cube right into her waiting mouth! She can unlatch the gate, so we
have had to put a special lock on it that she can't figure out.
She is a very clever girl. I can't imagine a sweeter disposition,
either. When she gets in trouble, (yes, she does) she will put her ears
straight out and "smile" at me. It makes me laugh so hard, I forget why
she was in trouble in the first place. Such a clown. I love my Harper
with all of my heart.
